The bad ones included the usual suspects: procrastination, last minute reading for class, watching TV while reading (is that so bad, as long as it does the trick to stay focused?), time management. The lure of the fridge&#8230;or not enough sleep. The lure of the internet. We have all been there. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We discussed some methods including &#8220;Pomodoro&#8221; (timer app), &#8220;Coffitivity&#8221; app (&#8220;<g class=\"gr_ gr_3 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace\" id=\"3\" data-gr-id=\"3\">Noisly<\/g>&#8221; is good as well if you like working on the bank of a river). (A great read on &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.co.uk\/Why-We-Sleep-Science-Dreams-ebook\/dp\/B06Y649387\/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1549443208&amp;sr=8-1&amp;keywords=why+we+sleep\">Why we sleep<\/a>&#8221; is a revelation.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-As busy as work and semester can be &#8211; never, ever sacrifice social life away from work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Always bear in mind: A habit takes time. Research says: pick one at a time.
